Great actors and simple positive plot. Why not to spend a wonderful evening watching this movie? It doesn’t claim for any praises, awards or other unimportant stuff. It does the main thing- it entertains us perfectly with faces of really experienced actors. They got tired of serious roles and decided to relax with all their souls and bodies, giving us a great present.
Morgan Freeman, Christopher Walken, William H. Macy… Each of them is a giant of cinema; they have acted in a great number of movies playing numerous roles, and now they gathered all together in this light comedy with some scent of criminal story.
3 people, 3 security guards who have been working in the museum for a long time, find out that its exhibition is moving not only to another city but to another part of the world- from the USA to Denmark. They are shocked and extremely disappointed; they fell in love with this pictures to the bottom of their hearts. So they create a plan to steal the masterpieces to enjoy them for the rest of their lives.
We should also point out that such glorious  cast won’t be possible without a film director as no orchestra can play without a conductor. This vacant position was given to Peter Hewitt – a person who shot ‘Garfield’- and he did his best. He managed to distribute all  roles and images so that they neither overlapped nor clashed. He created a harmony. Nobody of this Trinity of characters stands out, you see them all together.
Freeman who lives alone with his cats spends all his free time on art; Walken who has only 2 pleasures in life- his wife and a picture ‘A lonely virgin’ that he admires every day and just can’t stand its removal; night security guard Macy who deeply adores a statue of a naked man and tries to copy it, taking all the clothes off. This crazy mixture of different characters sets to create a plan to replace their favourite masterpieces.
One hour and a half of this movie just fly. Realizing that you gonna forget this movie in 3 days at most, you enjoy a great mood that will last for couple days!
